History
Formed 1 January 1777 at Danbury from Fairfield, Hartford, and Windham counties.
Entered Valley Forge with 362 men assigned of which were fit 286 for duty.
Left Valley Forge June 1778 with 340 assigned, 260 fit for duty. Left Valley Forge with 5th Connecticut Regiment.
Previous engagements: Connecticut 1777, New York 1777, Hudson Highlands, Defense of Philadelphia, Philadelphia-Monmouth
